Outstanding 19th Century Northern Italian side table with inlaid marquetry top. The table has a lovely marquetry inlay bird with an Olive branch in the center of the top. Surrounding that are two wide circular rings of exquisite parquetry, made of various types of wood. This very fine craftsmanship continues on the turned wood base and shaped tripod legs.
Overall the condition is very nice for a 19th Century Northern Italian side table. The table is very sturdy and the legs are very stable. There has been some earlier restoration over the years, as one would expect for an antique table 150 years old. This can be seen in the photos above. The occasional table still retains a natural warm patina and exquisite color.
