This distinctive sculptural timepiece made from various antique and vintage found objects, is called Flying Goddess. The starting point for this imaginative work of art is the antique war time era Graflex 4 x 5 camera, topped with a winged hood ornament from a 1953 Nash. The onetime Big Ben Alarm clock, now houses a working quartz movement clock with a black ring bezel. The clocks working pendulum was made from the base of a vintage Brass Flashlight. Other distinctive features include Vintage inspires Edison bulb housed inside an antique automobile trouble light and a cast iron claw foot base from an antique scale.
This unique art assemblage is another creation from Van Dusen Clockworks. It includes their signature name fob with the title Flying Goddess as well as the artist signature plaque and ID number.
The industrial machine-age look of this unique piece, would be right at home in an office setting or a cool residential loft.
