This Salinas Cactus painting was inspired by the famous Texas landscape painter Porfirio Salinas. Nestled among a hillside of Bluebonnets is a single Prickly Pear cactus. A lovely setting, just like you would find in the Texas Hill Country.

This work is by Texas artist Hardy Martin, who is also well known for his Texas landscapes and widely collected. The painting is on artist board and mounted in a driftwood colored wood grained frame. The artist signature is in the lower right corner.
