This huge loving cup trophy is very impressive. It stands just over 34″ tall and sits prominently on a walnut wood plinth base. The trophy is topped with a statuesque female figure in a seductive flowing dress holding a torch. She has a Laurel leaf crown on her head and is standing on an Art Deco style winged platform.
The loving cup portion of the trophy has a pair of very ornate scrolling handles. The handles are heavy and really well made. You can easily pickup this 12 pound trophy by the handles with no worries. The front of the loving cup reads as follows…
TROPHY DETAILS
The America’s Cup
The Champion Hairstylist
Of North and South America
National
Hair Fashion Show
The subject of the trophy may not be sports related, but this is one very striking award. The square plinth base is made of real walnut, handsomely detailed with a nicely stained finish. There are signs of a plaque that was previously on the front, which is now missing. This is shown in one of the detailed photos. The trophy has not been removed from the base, so the maker is unknown.
