This handsome Winter Buffalo painting is very imposing presence. The blueish tinted photographic print features a large Bison covered with white ice crystals standing in the snow. We love the frost highlights on the heavy fur coat of this majestic animal. That inspired the artist in his selection of colors used in the painting. A nice subtle mix of neutral colors of whites and shades of gray. The painting is sealed with a clear matte finish adding to the artworks soft snow-like appearance.
The artwork is on a wood cradled panel with back-beveled sides. When mounted, this gives the painting the appearance of floating away from the wall. You can see this detail in one of the photos above. This also allows the painting to be shown without the need for framing.
