Harry’s Wall Street Bar is a beautiful and colorful serigraph by LeRoy Neiman. He was known for his original brightly colored expressionist paintings and his serigraph screen prints were no different. Neiman had a fascination with great bars and their clientele and this image is one of his best. Harry’s Bar was a well known Wall Street institution for investment bankers, stock traders, real estate brokers and New York’s elite. Here he has captured the moment one would expect to see if you stopped by in the 1980’s. You may even recognize a few of the faces around the bar.
This image is one of two we have available. Both serigraphs come directly from the original owner / collector and were never framed. They are numbered and signed in pencil, by the artist. Since they have never been framed, you can still see the original deckled edge on the top and bottom of the paper. Also, each one has its original Certificate of Authenticity from Hanson Galleries in New Orleans.
