He was known for his original brightly colored expressionist paintings and his serigraph screen prints were no different. Neiman had a fascination with great bars and their clientele and this image is one of his best. FX McRory’s in Seattle Washington was know for having the largest selection of world class fine whiskeys in the United States.
We love the way Neiman depicted the back bar filled with all brands of whiskey. Instead of showing individual bottles which the viewer could not see, he instead did a collage of various whiskey bottle labels. Can you find your favorite?
