“Inside Out” strives to explore the contradiction between the inner and outward appearance of a person. The colors of the background denote joy and illumination. There is order and harmony. The dark clothing creates a visual solid barrier. The figure gestures appear open yet the closed eyes again create a contradiction on being unavailable. The figure is in a posture of change; about ready to take flight.
