The Hornet robot also known as Stinger, was developed and produced by Van Dusen Designworks. His primary function is for use as a laser guidance system to paint enemy targets. The bright orange twin tanks on his back are used for containment storage to power his lasers. When activated, the glowing blue lasers can be seen flowing through the clear hose lines to the twin projectors, one on each arm.
The Hornet travels in his own portable transport pod know as the Hive. This incredible pod was created and fabricated from a vintage oxygen tank from a WW–II B–17 aircraft. This is just one of the many features on this military inspired robot.
The Hornet robot is a wonderful assemblage of vintage and found objects. He comes with his very own embossed Minutemen Series Dog Tags showing his name, nickname and the maker, Van Dusen Designworks.
