This wonderful sign for the East Bay Fish Packing company was made to look like the trade signs and antique signs from the early 1900’s. The sign was made in the late 20th century and originally hung in a restaurant until it was purchased in the 1990’s. The sign is carved and handmade from wood, utilizing boards and trim molding. The centerpiece of the sign is the high relief carved fish, all covered in gold leaf. The bold blue lettering has a wonderful soft grey drop shadow behind each letter. The edge of the sign is finished with a wood molding painted blue with a gold pinstripe. This sign was very well made, very heavy and is structurally sound.
The East Bay Fish Packing trade sign would be awesome hanging in a kitchen or dining area of a home or loft. Its also perfect decor for a cabin or lodge, as well as a seafood restaurant, bistro or cafe.
