This vintage DRIVE THRU neon sign is a piece of roadside Americana. This is an authentic neon sign from the 1960’s -1970’s era and was most likely from a restaurant. We love the italic red letters with their speed inspired font style. The letters are cut from metal, painted red and riveted to the face of the sign. This was a more expensive sign to produce, compared to most, which were usually just painted letters.
The vintage Drive Thru neon sign is original and retains its original painted finish. It has a nice weathered and faded finish that enhances the look. The neon tubes are all new, as well as the transformer and wiring. Ready to hang in your home or garage, the sign uses a standard outlet plug to light up. Add this to your kitchen for a statement piece everyone will remember when the visit.
