This one is an especially nice example that even features the Scottish Thistle etched in each corner. The etched glass mirror plate has gold gilt etched and reverse painted lettering and trademark symbol. William Younger & Company was a brewery founded in 1749 in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. In 1931 Younger’s merged with William McEwan’s & Company to form Scottish Brewers Ltd.
