This pair of Ernst Ries and Sohn tables were made by the West German company in the 1960’s. The mid-century modern design, features a chrome flat-bar base and ivory color laminate top. The chrome parallel bar legs with exposed screw heads are extremely well made and very heavy. These are not hollow, they are solid steel bars with chrome plating. The leg design gives them a distinct architectural appearance. Underneath the table the base retains its original label from the maker. These can be used as side tables or end tables as well.
