Superb Hans Wegner cane stool, model JH 539, built by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. Made of solid teak wood the beautiful design incorporates shaped handles on both sides of the woven cane seat. The condition is exceptional with original finish and the caning. It still retains its original brass tag that reads Johannes Hansen, Cabinet Maker, Copenhagen – Denmark, Design: H. J. Wegner. The Hans Wegner cane stthandsome mid century stool is also referred to as a bench.
