This antique Corinthian Bagatelle gameboard is in excellent condition. This version was Model 51, referred to as the Corinthian and made by the Abbey company. As a tabletop game, it was intended for home use for adults and children.
The condition of this gameboard is very nice considering the surface of the game field is covered in a fine fabric. Typically the balls for the game were marbles and made of metal or glass. This would quickly wear and show marks on the game field. The color is all original and in very good condition and not faded. As is typical with this type of game, the original game balls are missing.
We use these antique and vintage gameboards more for display than as a game to play. A collection of these on a wall makes for quite the conversation. Perfect for decorating game rooms and children’s rooms.
