The Yasuaki Sasamoto saddle stool is one of the easily recognizable stools of the late 20th Century. Its distinct tractor style adjustable seat is mounted on a simple industrial style base with three legs. This model is collapsible and foldable. The Maker’s mark is engraved on the top of the saddle seat, as shown in the photos.
Nicknamed Yasa, Yasuaki Sasamoto was born in Japan in 1952. He is a designer and artist who established his Dulton Company Ltd. in Hong Kong in 1989.
Yasuaki Sasamoto saddle stool is made of stainless steel with a chrome plate finish. It retains all its original hardware, which can easily be identified by the Dulton mark. Even the original gray color rubber feet have the makers name embossed on each foot.
